Mike Candrea and Southwest Camps are pleased to present the 24th Annual Holiday Softball Camp held in beautiful Tucson Arizona December 18th and 19th, 2010. Our Holiday camp offers 12 hours of expert instruction in Hitting, Pitching, Infield Play, Outfield Play, Catching, Sliding, Left Handed Slap Bunting, Base Running, and Throwing over a 2 day period. Campers will have the opportunity to refine and develop their skills as they work alongside the best clinicians in the country. Staff from across the United States will be in Tucson working with each player during the camp.

Campers from 4th-12th grade will be separated by both their grade in school and position and will have the opportunity to work alongside the 2011 Arizona Wildcat Softball Team at the 2 day clinic held at Golf Links Park. Each camper is asked to provide their own glove, cleats, bat and batting gloves for each session.

Check-In for Mike Candrea and Southwest Camps 24th Annual Holiday Softball Camp begins at 8:00am on Saturday December 18th with Clinic sessions running from 10:00am to 1:00pm and then again from 2:00-5:00pm. On December 19th, campers are asked to report to camp between 8:30 and 8:55am with camp sessions running from 9:00am to 12:00pm and then again from 1:00-4:00pm. There is a lunch break each day that runs from 1:00-2:00pm on Saturday and from 12:00-1:00 on Sunday. Campers should plan to bring their own lunch to the field or leave with a parent to grab lunch. Campers are also asked to bring their own water cooler or water bottle to each session.

Parent’s and coaches are welcome to watch their players as they participate in Mike Candrea and Southwest Camps 24th Annual Holiday Softball Camp but the camp staff asks that parents and coaches do not come onto the field and approach the clinicians while they are instructing the players. Video recording devices are not allowed to be used during the Holiday Clinic.

Each camper will receive a Mike Candrea and Southwest Camps T-shirt and will have the opportunity to receive autographs from the clinicians and 2011 Arizona Wildcat Softball players participating in the Holiday Camp. There will also be a photograph opportunity for any player wishing to snap a photo with any of the clinicians or U of A 2011 Softball Players. You will need to provide your own camera.

Please mark your calendar for Mike Candrea and Southwest Camps 24th Annual Holiday Softball Camp held December 18th and 19th, 2010. The cost of the Holiday Camp is $200.00 and payment in full is due at time of registration. Our cancelation policy states that any player not able to attend will forfeit $25 of their payment if we are notified by email by December 1st, 2010. All cancellations made on or after December 2nd, 2010 will forfeit the entire $200.00 payment. There will be no refunds given due to weather complications, but all attempts will be made to adjust the camp schedule for Saturday and Sunday, December 18th and 19th, 2010.
